OUR STORY
As a proud immigrant entrepreneur, founder and principal Helen Zhou, CPA, CA is an influential business and community leader in Canada. Through her dynamic career in accounting, banking, investment attraction for the province of British Columbia, and the Canadian Embassy in China, she has served hundreds of global, local and immigrant entrepreneurs. She understands the challenges and opportunities of doing businesses in Canada. Under her leadership, her team is passionate about supporting global and immigrant entrepreneurs to successfully navigate their entrepreneurial journey in Canada.
From her training and professional experiences in accounting and insurance, she understands why insurance is a powerful tool to protect, preserve, and grow wealth in Canada. Like many immigrants, we come to Canada not just for ourselves but also for our family members. It is also a great way to meet the family needs including education for children.
Helen believes in giving back to society as a non-for-profit and business association board member, judge for case competition, mentor for entrepreneurs and students. She is a dedicated speaker for Start-up Visa immigrant entrepreneurs at the well-known impact incubator Spring – Home. She enthusiastically promotes diversity and supports immigrants and international companies to thrive in the Canadian economy and society. Her accomplishments include:
- Selected to be part of the Canadian delegation to attend the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit and serve on the Innovation Taskforce
- Represented Canada in attendance at the Alibaba Global Conference on Woman and Entrepreneurship
- Executive Board Member and Treasurer at the Laurier Institution
- Steering Committee Member for Metro Vancouver Prosperity Committee
- Board Member at the Hong Kong Canada Business Association
Outside of work, Helen enjoys travelling and playing chess with her “chessmaster” son, and volunteering together in the community. The company’s name represents “sunshine” or positive energies to others. In Chinese, “An安” means to live, work in peace and contentment. “Sun顺” means integrity and running a business smoothly. These values are deeply rooted in our business and drive us to create the financial peace of mind for our clients both in their business and personal lives.
