Throughout her career, she has held roles with leading organizations including Ernst & Young, Scotiabank, the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), British Columbia’s investment attraction agency, and the Canadian Embassy.

Drawing on her experience across multiple disciplines, Helen developed a unique perspective on the financial challenges entrepreneurs face. She recognized that tax, accounting, insurance, and wealth planning are often managed separately, resulting in missed opportunities and unnecessary risks. Her integrated approach brings these disciplines together into a cohesive strategy that helps entrepreneurs reduce risk, optimize their financial position, and build long-term wealth.

As a CPA, CA, entrepreneur, and single mother, Helen understands firsthand the competing priorities and challenges faced by busy business owners. She is particularly passionate about helping entrepreneurs understand how insurance can serve as a strategic financial tool—not only to protect families and businesses, but also to preserve wealth, manage risk, and support long-term financial growth.

Beyond her professional practice, Helen is a recognized community leader with strong relationships across government, business, and the non-profit sector. Known as a natural connector, she is committed to creating opportunities, building meaningful partnerships, and helping clients access valuable networks and resources that support their success in Canada and globally.

Helen has served as a board member, mentor, and advisor to numerous business and community organizations. She has been invited to judge business competitions for UBC Sauder MBA students and has delivered workshops on financial literacy, risk management, entrepreneurship, and wealth building for organizations including CPA British Columbia, TD Bank, Vancouver Startup Week, YWCA, YELL Canada, Spring, and the City of Richmond. As an impact investor, she actively supports innovative ventures through Spring Impact Investor Challenge and Pyfera Growth Capital Corp..
